How We Deliver

HOW WE DELIVER

At Urban Hax, we believe in the power of making to bring people together. Through programs like Makernet and partnerships with events such as Walsall MakerFest, we help local people learn new skills, share creativity, and connect with their community, building pride, collaboration, and inspiration across the area.

Walsall Makernet

Makernet is a program by Urban Hax that brings community workshops to the local area. From Bloxwich Launchpad to Goscote Greenacres Community Garden, Mindkind and other creative projects, Makernet helps residents learn new skills, collaborate on making projects, and connect with their community.

Walsall Makerfest

Walsall MakerFest is a vibrant celebration of creativity and talent across Walsall and the Black Country. Urban Hax partners with the festival to support community engagement. The festival helps residents connect, showcase skills and take part in events that inspire pride, learning and collaboration throughout the town.

At Urban Hax, we are committed to building a stronger, greener Walsall by sharing resources, reducing waste, and supporting community projects. Through initiatives like the Walsall Tool Shack and Repair Café, we help people connect, learn new skills and make a positive impact in their local community.

Walsall Tool Shack

Walsall Tool Shack is a Crowdfund Walsall project run by Urban Hax CIC. The aim of the project is to provide an affordable solution for acquiring tools for DIY projects, getting members of the community more active as well as learning new skills along the way.

Walsall Repair Cafe

Walsall Repair Café brings people together to fix items, share skills and promote social inclusion. Run by volunteers, it supports sustainability by reducing waste and building community connections.

Urban Hax offers tailored business support to help creative entrepreneurs grow and succeed. One of our latest initiatives is the Guildhall Incubation Programme, based in Walsall’s new Creative Industries Hub. The programme provides business coaching and mentoring, access to hot desking, and weekly makerspace training in 3D printing, dye sublimation and large format printing. It gives creatives the guidance, skills and resources they need to develop their ideas and build their business.
